One Sabbath I found myself on the University campus where I had some time to just spend in Nature. It was wonderful especially since there were flowers and bees around :).
Andrew's University had a group come out for a program at the MEU (Middle East Univ.) and one day they came out to the school and did some programs for us, including story telling on the roof, games, and card making for mothers day.
Mothers day Program
The beginning of April was marked by meetings at the Union. During breaks I caught the opportunity to get outside and even found a few friends :). I also used the opportunity of sitting in meetings all day to get, a water bottle holder crocheted and some gloves knitted that I had started in January :).
I don't think I have said that I have been teaching more crochet and knitting classes. I am now going to one of my family's houses and spending 2-3 hours at a time teaching and playing around...growing and developing relationships.
This is some yarn that GOD helped provide the funds for for me to use in my knitting/crocheting classes.
One of my boys decided I needed to have a purple chick added to my home for abandoned and injured kittens, but I explained to him that the chicks best chance of survival would probably not be with me. :)
I made rolls for Sabbath that were absolutely wonderful :) with olives and a few other yummy things it them (They were supposed to be for potluck, but never quite made it that far :)).
One Friday evening we had a very good vespers, where the speaker talked about how we can count the number of seeds in an apple, but couldn't count the number of apples in a seed. It was a very thought provoking idea.
At one of my students house getting my hair done :).
Enjoying GOD's nature once again.
Two weeks before spring break my boss came into my class and told me that we had a mission to do. The two of us went down the road a little ways and came back with eight abandoned kittens! Five in one litter, another litter of two, and one loan kitten. Sadly only one of them survived.
One of my students reading a book (a real book) in English for the first time :).
On Sabbath some of the families decided they wanted to eat together and the Center was used as the venue.

One of my students was clearly worried that the plates were still empty. :)
Tabuli!
Food at last!
Remember the kittens from above? Here is one that we were trying to keep still so that the poultices on its feet would stay on. I have never had kittens that had so many strange things happening to them. This little guy got swollen toes.
And someone decided to come visit Cub's owner :)... (Adventures with Melissa will be on the next post)
