Well...four weeks ago when I said that I would update the blog in a few days... I should have added the phrase “GOD willing” to the end. About two days after I posted that I started having problems with my email account and wasn’t able to fix the problem until last week. So Until this last friday I have not been able to get on my blog (since it is connected to my email). So here is a long delayed update...forgive me for taking so long getting it up. Some of the pictures are a little mixed up...I will try to get them sorted out, but I figured if I kept stalling I would never get it up.
So here are some pictures from April and May (the last two months of real school).
My sister and I spent a day in Byblos at the ruins and some time at the beach

Taking a break to feed a kitten I carried around with me in the
little pencil bag you see beside me on my Right |

A tomb near the supposed tomb of Hiram King of Tire in Byblos

| Cold water :) |
A day in Beirut.
We went around to the National Museum (which was unfortunately closed because it was a holiday, so we just toured the outside of it :)), the Mohammad Al'Amine Mosque, and some Roman Baths.

| Eating gelato near the Center...very good gelato! :) |
Tyre and Sidon
My parents made a surprise visit just after my sister came, and we went to Tyre and Sidon, among other places.
A strange cloud we saw as we entered Sidon...
Don't think I have ever seen a cloud like this before. |
| Family picture in the old chariot racing arena of Tyre (from left to right, me, mom, dad, and Melissa). |
| Melissa and I having fun on the bases of pillars |
Attempting to watch the non-existent chariot race
| The view outside my window in Beirut |
| An activity with some of my students on the weekend |
| Melissa making friends with one of my young students. |
After my parents left Melissa and I took two of my boys an interactive museum which they really enjoyed.
| We enjoyed some ice-cream on our way back home |
| Melissa departing :( |
| And two days after Melissa left, Sara, one of my old friends/sisters, paid me a visit! :) |
| I took her to Byblos too. |
| There was an old wooden door on a house near the ruins that had a line of joy! (it was actually inscribed with tons of people's names, but this one made me smile) |
| Sara pointing out a clock tower in down town Beirut |
| And more gelato... :) |
So as you can see my last couple months were full of blessings in abundance mixed in here and there with some tough challenges and trials. But GOD has brought me through these last few months with thankfulness in my heart.
