The Heart Continues to Cry

        I don't know if any of you read a post I wrote in June, entitled "The Cry of the Heart," about one of my boys who has grown up without the comfort of a family who actually cared about what was best for him. All summer long the dad has been going back and forth about whether he will allow his son to come to school this year or not. One moment he says that his son can come back to school and the next moment says that his son needs to work instead (his older brother was already taken out of school last year to work). Tonight I learned that the final decision has been made (school is starting on Monday) and this young man will not be coming back to school this year. He is about 10 years old!

         Please lift up this family and the many like it around the world who place little value on the future good of their children. Things don't always turn out the way we wish they did, but maybe GOD can still bring some kind of good from the dips and turns of these children's lives...
